“Competency and you” is a suite of one day courses designed to meet a broad range of training needs.

The first course “Competency” is mandatory as it gives participants a broad understanding of how both the individual and the organisation can benefit from a competency-based approach and sets the programme for the remainder of the courses from which you or your organisation can select the ones the meet your specific needs.

This course defines the key concepts of Personal Productivity and show you how to maximise your personal productivity using a range of techniques to prioritise activities based on what is important to you.

3. CUSTOMER DRIVEN ORGANISATION
A customer driven organisation is one that: Listens to its customers. Integrates customers into its business. Provides customer focused solutions. Has a culture which positively embraces the customer.

4. TURN GROUPS INTO TEAMS
The aim of this course is to show you how to turn any group of people into a focused, can-do team.

5. CONFLICT MANAGEMENT
Understand the relationship between conflict and the organisation. Identify sources and types of conflict and employ various conflict handling strategies and styles.

6. COACHING AND MENTORING
This course deals with the key concepts associated with Coaching and Mentoring including the processes and how to introduce a Coaching and Mentoring programme.

7. CREATIVE PROBLEM SOLVING
Becoming an effective problem solver is probably one of the most important skills for our own personal development.  This course will help you to define the key concepts associated with Problem Solving.

8. TECHNICAL REPORT WRITING
Effective technical report writing skills drive all successful organisations. In this course you will learn key technical report writing skills that you can adopt in your organisation to deliver endless results

9. PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Project Management is a process of combining systems, people and techniques to complete a project within established targets of time, budget and quality.
